I would contact the three major credit bureaus and put a Security Freeze on your Credit and then nobody can run your credit at all.. It costs some money cant tell you how much as depends on state each state has their own rules and fees like her in Nevada its $10.

But if you go to the Police and Open a Identity Theft Police Report and then send a copy to the Credit Bureaus with your Security Freeze request then its free.. Thats what I did after my Identity was stolen and used to open $10,000 worth of credit cards.

I propose a petition against Clear. I fucking wince when I see the word ‘clear’ right now, even though it applies to me in certain ways. Whoever made Clear Wimax is a dumbass. It has shitty service no matter what improvement you make. If you don’t already have it, don’t use it if you value your internet.

Clearwire’s or Clear’s service is sub-par at best. In Vancouver, WA an area heavily saturated with towers and excellent signal, the service still suffers from limited bandwidth. I have 5 bars on my Motorola home modem all day and night, but can’t seem to ever maintain more than 1Mbps. 1.6 Mbps is the highest it’s spiked to on record, and couldn’t maintain it for more than 10 minutes. I’m currently paying for the Unlimited for Two package. Two devices receiving guaranteed 6Mbps D/L speeds and spikes up to an unlimited ceiling (in theory as high as your Ethernet connection to the modem, or the capacity of WiMax can provide). What a joke.

Frequently when streaming music on Pandora, or trying to play a game online the internet will completely drop for minutes at a time. The DNS server also seems to be extremely slow, resulting in navigation errors frequently when browsing within the same domain even. It fails to even resolve the hostname of Ventrilo servers that it has disconnected from due to these frequent hiccups.

From a technical standpoint… this is garbage and should be removed from the market. The last time I had internet service this poor was over 5 years ago; in a remote town on the coast. I encourage everyone to contact the Better Business Bureau with their concerns over this service provider. I know I will be.

I think clear sucks
they suck at internet rare to connect and when i do it feels like dial up
they suck at support
they suck at service
they suck my time
they can suck my balls.
Sorry but they have wasted my time (about 128 hours now) my money ( $320)
And they have a shitty attitude
Im posting this everywhere so that hopefully i can pay them back by helping people avoid the headache it aint worth it.
Ill wait for LTE or google.

i want to cut clear asap.
i can’t play online games, cant connect my ipod to the internet, can’t use the phone,….

since the migration from clearwire to clear, i have experienced poor service. they claim to have upgraded everyone’s speed but for me that didn’t happened. yes you do get like 5mbps or 6 sometimes but it wouldn’t last. most of the time it is 1-2mbps!!.

i have a phone connected to clearwire. my god i just cant stand it. how can you contact clearwire when the phone is out because there’s no signal?

my modem(clear) rescans every few minutes thus making it an unstable piece of shit.

i’m thinking of cutting my service and go back to hawaiiantelcom or other solid ISPs. i’d rather pay for the termination fee than+ pay for the service that i can’t really use.

That’s the kind of bullshit I’m talking about. The bars only say what signal you get from the tower. Then there is the bandwidth or something, which means how much everyone gets… Sort of like Northern Korea. Everyone gets a bucket of rice, and something else. Well, CLEAR gives everyone a HUGE ASS container of rice, but gives everyone a spoon-full. It just doesn’t work, and pisses people off. Like right now, as I type this message, my modem is going from 2 bars, to 1 bar, to scrolling. Now, if I had 2 bars, then 1 bar, there is still my share that I get from the tower. But, because the signal can’t keep up for shit, I don’t get my spoon-full of rice, I get a single kernel of rice. See what I mean? They are trying to split the connection between everyone but the signal also is a major contributing factor to the amount of hatred placed upon Clear. So, I have come up with a minor equation: Q=S+R where Q stands for quality, S for signal, and R for rationed internet. Quite irrelevant, but just thought I would show this to others.

I hate shitwire. I’m trying to watch a half hour episode of weeds on Netflix and have had to wait 4 times already because my “connection slowed” as if it wasn’t slow to begin with. I’m finally almost finished with my contract after dealing with their horrible connection as well as shitty customer service. They keep calling asking me to renew my contract every time they do I answer and tell them to fuck off. I wouldn’t keep their service if it was free. My cell phone has faster internet, it’s what I’m using right now.

I have had clearwire for over 1 year. First it was great on xbox. Noticed i was getting faster speed then i paid for!! Then it all went downhill. Until recently (4 months) i was great. Now i log onto my 360 and i get 1 bar on every game i play. On my laptops its insanely slow. 1 minute youtube video in sd quality take 10 minutes to load.

The worst part is as i sit by my laptop i can see the tower out my window. I get a constant 5 bars on home modem and can even connect to 2 different towers! Great right? nope i get 800-1000 ping and .2 mbs dl speed and .5 upload. Doesnt make sense. Anyways long story short its the only “high speed” internet available where i am at. So i almost have no choice. Please stay away from clearwire if at all possible.

I am sick and tired of clearwire everyday its the ups and downs with the damn connection. Clearwire promised me 3mbps and i have never ever reached 1mbps. They tell you that its fast easy and pain free, they say that they have great customer service and they talk u into 2 year contracts and when its over they still want MOOOORRREEE! I can not wait until these company is shut down for good. BOTTEM LINE: CLEAR WIRE SUCKSSSSS!!! From the connection to customer service to there anooying fees and contracts. Take it from me and EVERYONE here Do not look it clearwire do not talk to anyone from clearwire and do not even think about thinking of clearwire or else they will charge you for thinking about them.

I’ve used these guys since July 2009 and there service is schizophrenic at best. At times I would be better off using damn dial up. There techs are retards, there interfaces don’t mesh. You can’t upgrade from the original interface to the “updated” version. It’s just a cluster fornication run by morons. E dayum nuff! I’ve had enough of this 3rd world service!~

I live in seattle capital hill, too. my mordern signal never goes above 3, mostly remain at 2, Dl speed its 1.xx, and Ul speed is around 0.0x, absoulty it doesn’t run that fast as CLEAR said, and the problem never get fixed. Sometimes i feel like i almost smash my modern, can any CLEAR employer tell me how much it is for a modern, i want to know if it is worthy to break it.

I’ve had clearwire for about a year now and I have to agree the speed sucks. Even though my connection info says 100 mbps, websites still take too long to load. I frequently download work related files (some as big as 400Mb) and watch the speed (usually starting at 75k) drop to around 20k. So slow that my downloads often time out partially downloaded. I’m afraid this is going to be another AOL type pain to cancel.

SUCKS! I have tried these fools three times since moving to Portland,Oregon and each their system didn’t work for me, first time I was told I would I have super fast and got home and found out they lied. Had to fight Clear for months to erase a bill that shouldn’t have been there. Well again I gave clearwire another and yet again they failed. They claim to be have faster than cable internet and right now I think that is a bunch of crap! They will also tell you so companies have given money for this company, which I am starting to think that is crap as well. These reps will do anything to sell clear to you, even ask for a love ones birth date, what they don’t tell you is this is a credit check on this person. The other thing clearwire doesn’t do is vefiy anything and the rep given a name and birth date uses this as co-signer. After that these people will tell you oh you can change the account in your in three days, that is not true nor can you cancle the account. These people lie and don’t follow the rules in order to sell thier crap service. I have fallen into their trap too many times. I am poting this because I want people fully aware that Clearwire reps stops at nothing to make a sell. Thier company stinks and should be sued to the max! Please if asked for a loves one name and birth date don’t give it, this is if you can’t pass thier credit check.

this is the most deceitful company I’ve ever been in business with. I left soon after being asked to lie to a YMCA so we could get their money. Truth is, the company cannot survive with their currecnt business practices. Unfortunately, the fat cats are making money now, and their families will be affected by their poor judgement. Same thing happened to the telecom industry 10 years or so ago. I’ve moved on, and ask all those hurt by CLEAR’s shady business practices to do the same. I’m in the army and I have actually recruited the real good talent from Clear to come work with me as Officer’s part time with great benefits. Also, a better cause, anyway…. yes.. CLEAR absolutely sucks. this is great reading material. My heart goes out to those impacted by CLEAR b/c I have been there and know what havoc they cause on the lives of normal and conscious laden citizens. ALL The best, and here is the conact info for CLEAR’s regional “Leadership” in the Carolina’s. I’m sure they’d love to hear from you.
