When I ordered Clear Home Internet and on the go Internet via customer service we were abused and deceived by the Clear web site and customer service
 
We were told that our address is “serviceable” at the time we placed the ordered via customer service.
 
At the time we installed the modem clear customer service and or tech support could not activate our account.  There was a problem with the activation. We waited and checked our connection. I restarted your computer and checked the connection.  Moreover, we contacted CLEAR customer support at 888-888-3113. 
 
We were told serviceability and signal strength may be subject to environmental conditions plus, according to customer support one of the clear towers was down and we should wait. Also, we should install the modem near a window. We did so and still we could not connect and or activate service to the Internet.
 
I gave Clear the benefit of doubt and we waited for Clear to correct this tower issue. 
 
Time has passed and because of no service we had no choice but to cancel Clear home Internet and on the go Internet. Simply we were in a non-serviceable area and we could not get our Internet services to work or activated. The cancellation of service within the first 15 days does not apply in this case. We strongly believe we are eligible for a full refund because we did not or could not activate Clear home Internet and on the go Internet at the above mentioned address from day one.
 
In addition, I placed the order because my son is an ACN representative and is an authorized reseller for Clear. He was lied to as well. 
 
We feel ripped off because of Clear web site and customer support had the know how and sold us Internet services in a non-serviceable area. This is ABUSE. Moreover, they denied our request for a full refund and now we will proceed with legal action.</description>

		<description>THIS IS the WORST experience I have ever EVER had!!! First off the mall hogs intised me after 4 or 6 trips Dec 2010 to sign up. Finally i gave in and went and bought a home system at BESTBUY. The cashier failed to activate my account even though i insisted, After paying 120.00 for the system I called ClearWire and they said they couldnt &quot;activate&quot; my 120.00 i just paid!?? HUH!?? anyhow i finally had to drive 100 miles to another store where the guy promised me all was well. Needless to say....I didnt get activated STILL!!!  Finally after fighting with them for a month. YES a MONTH!!!  And mind you they were BILLING ME!! but no service, they tell me to SEND the home system to them and they will upon receipt of it send me a hotspot in place of it since i had only laptops and tablets anyhow and travel.   WELL...they called said they recieved it and sent the hotspot.   PROBLEM???  THEY kept billing me for a HOME SYSTEM i had SENT TO THEM (over 120.00) and were also charging me for a hotspot LEASE!!! HUH???   I cancelled after getting NOWHERE with them and come DECEMBER 2011 there was a 78.00 and 12.00 charge over and above my 50.00 charge.!   After running up 2 months of minutes and talking to TWELVE reps, they promised to refund it.  GUESS WHAT ?? 4 days later, it was STILL NOT REFUNDED. so i called again and the 13th rep told me NO REFUND.   WHAT THE HECK ????    I am SUEING them and taking them to court. I have proof because i recorded every single conversation I had with them.   GOD I HATE THIS COMPANY!!!  Never hated a company in my life.  :(</description>

After the second week when I told them that the signal was low and the modem kept loosing the signal they informed me that I could NOT cancell my account with them because I had a 2 year contract. They told me to call the 1888-888-3113 number and speak to tecnical support, the technical support informed me that I had no signal in my area and we had a black out on service for the past few days. He also told me that I would have to speak to the billing department to discontinue my service. I do so but every month they would take 109.00 from my credit card for the service. When I brought it to their attention they said &quot;well you have some service still&quot; HOW!!! my account was closed!!! well as it stands I cancelled my credit card and they refuse to give me a refund for the monies that I lost 872.00 in total. IM VERY UPSET but its nothing being done on their behalf to return my money so I called a lawyer, and the money will be returned and I&quot;m also sueing for mental distress</description>

I signed on for a month-to-month contract and leased the modem because I wasn&#039;t sure how reliable and good their internet service was going to be.  It was so slow so I decided to cancel after 6 months.  I dad to call them on two occasions just to try to cancel, each time trying to get me to stay, I didn&#039;t relent and eventually they said I couldn&#039;t and I had to call them the day of my bill date to cancel, which was a little bit suspicious, so I called them one day before my bill date so they couldn&#039;t automatically debit another month of service from my bank account.  I asked the rep if I would incur any more charges, and they assured me no.  I immediately was no longer able to access my clear account to retrieve the shipping label or retrieve the confirmation email.  I had to call again to get the return shipping label.  Now, a month later, they withdrew $40 from my bank for an unknown reason.  Had to call them again, and they gave me some bullcrap that it was for a &quot;restocking&quot; fee.  Spoke to the manager and he said that it was for early termination because my contract was for 24 months.  I can&#039;t access my clear email to prove that it was a month to month basis.  No where on their website or when I signed up did it state anything about incurring $40 for cancelling and returning their equipment on time.  Don&#039;t sign up for Clear, they are crooks!</description>

		<description>CLEARWIRE. Promised to cover the cost of the modem by sending me a VISA gift card. I called back after not receiving the visa credit card. CLEARWIRE  informed me that the credit was no longer valid. They stated that the offer expired. 

I told clearwire that I wanted to cancel the service. Clearwire customer service department agreed to cover the modem cost by providing service for free for two months. 

After lots of wasted time, clearwire did cover the cost of the modem. The internet service works well. My only complaint is how much effort it took to get clearwire to fulfill their promise to pay for the modem.  If you ever get an offer for a VISA credit card, I’d ask how and when you will get the card. When I finally got a copy of the gift card application, it had several requirements including: A requirement to attach a copy of my first months statement. The bill must be paid on time. The credit application also expired after 90 days. So you only have a 60 day time frame to collect the credit.  

The VISA gift card was full of requirements and stipulations. “Not much of a gift”</description>
