Clearwire crooks. Literally stole from me – User Submission by Kim C.
July 4th, 2012 | by Admin |I have had clearwire for over 2 years and have had horrible service. We live outside of town and just thought that was reason. My contract was up and we were paying month to month. We were out of town and did not pay our bill so or service was interupted. I’m thinking no big deal I went online via my phone and paid 47.00 to restore service. I could not get online. I called went thru all the hassle of troubleshooting and I finally figured out my USB stick was dead. No red light or green light nothing. I was told I would have to purchase A new one for 57.00. I was furious. It had been 2 days since I paid my bill. So there was no way to get online without getting new one. I told them I want to cancel my service and get my payment returned. They told me no. Just like that. I was shocked. I said I would pay for the two days even though I never was able to use it. So they transferred me to someone else. That person told me the reason my Internet was not working is because I had a past due balance!!! I could not get him to explain that to me. So he wants me to make another pAyment of $50.00 and my device would work. I then said I were to pay that an my device still did not work what would they do. Of course lied and told me they would send me new device. Needless to say I did not make payment and will tell everyone I see how horrible clearwire is. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to get refund or file complaint. They litterally stole from me. I’m sending this from brothers phone because I have no Internet lol.
