Throttling – User Submission

I am being throttled every night and ending up SLOWER than dial-up.

Wondering what everyone is turning to as an alternative. This is freaking ridiculous to pay for unlimited and get dialup.

I am ONE BLOCK from the tower.

Please, anybody have suggestions so I can dump this company?

    I would recommend Charter Communications, or any other cable provider. Verizon FiOs is great too. All you do is stop paying the bill, they will shut down your internet, then ignore them at all cost. Then keep the modem, because they will charge you to give them it back. I use my old modem as a night light because that’s the only thing it will ever be good for.

    Throttling by Clear is ridiculous! It takes 5 H O U R S to download an SD movie that takes only 15 minutes through my mother-in-law’s AT&T wifi connection.
