February 10th, 2012 | by Admin |I am a repeat complainer to clear wire. every night starting about 7pm (pst) until 11:30 or so, our service is WORSE than dial-up! When contacting the clear wire reps I was told that my family uses too much internet and was tagged as over users and now are being monitored and restricted so other “less active” users can use the Internet as well. I was told when I signed up that I would have 4g speeds, not that that there was a limit on “how much Internet” I could use. I was also told by one rep that I would be switched to a different tower to improve my speed and the next night after crappy speeds continued, another rep told me there was no way to switch me to another tower. I am very unhappy with the inconsistent speeds as I don’t have any problem during the day. Living where I do I don’t have a lot of choices…I am just waiting for the cheaper, more reliable AT&T dsl to show up!
