Clearwire customer service – User Submission by Kay V.
July 23rd, 2010 | by Admin |I got the Clear two 2 go plan, walked into local store, their map showed I was just outside the service area, however the manager there told me that it showed his store was outside of the service area also. He also advised there would be no charges if it did not work, and I returned the equipment within the first month. The mobile on the go worked fine where my sons’ workloft was, however the home modem did not work. My son worked with tech support, with no luck-WE WERE OUTSIDE THE SERVICE AREA!
We took all the equipment back to the store, they said we needed to talk to their tech support to get authorization to return the equipment. After dealing with them for about an hour, they told us our account would be credited when we returned the equipment. We could not return it to the store where we got it. They emailed us a shiipping label. I took the pkg to UPS, thankfully I waited for a label showing I gave them the package. This was on June 28th On July 20, I receive an email saying I had not returned the equipment. I scanned my UPS return receipt into my laptop, attached it to an email, and also went to the UPS site, tracking, which showed the package was delivered on July 1st, and also had a proof of delivery document. I copied both documents and pasted to my email, along with the attachment.
I receive a second email from them telling me if I want my attachment to be included in my communication, I needed to call them. I called and spoke to a Thomas, who advised me the equipment had been received July 2nd, and my credit card had been credited.
I just checked with my credit card company, it has not been credited. I have put in a dispute with the Credit Card company at this time to have the charges removed.

Clearwire, did the same thing to me, and sold my personal information, leading to several stolen identity, credit card theft them and the rest of the Basters lay in wait for customers honest people and pick them apart like vultures, not waiting until the caucus is even dead yet. they are the worst pestiulance of the earth yet in the isp business slow & they suck BAD.!!!!!!!!!!!! I hat their ass

fuck clearwire they suck and will screw you over do not use them they are the worst ISP I have ever used. Nothing but problems and waiting for the que to wait, and then get some bullshit from their tech. that they are having some isues and it will be fixed shortly. You will die waiting and in the mean time they will sell all of your personal information to who ever they can over and over again. FUCK THEM AND U ARE A STUPID FUCK IF U USE THEM< $ U SURELY WILL GET FUCKED< TAKEN FOR YOUR ID MONEY AND BANK ACCOUNT WHILE ON HOLD WITH THEIR physio help. Don't sign up or even try next you will be pummeled with unexplainable viruses that your operating system will freeze and you will not be able to use your computer until you reload windows. They Suck….

I signed up for clear service Feb. 17 2010. I have had vertually no service phone or internet since then.There tech support has no more an idea of how to fix a problem than me trying to build an atomic bomb in my garage. after a multitude of phone calls, most calls were on a cell phone. Their phone service didn’t work most of the time. Finally tonight I called in to cancel my service. They were going to do anything to keep me. Transfer my account to a frien, a relative etc. Finally they woud send a clearwire tecnician out to solve the problem. I flat out told them NO! I DO NOT WANT YOUR SERVICE !!! I cannot tell you what a relief it is to be rid of such a worthless service.
