Another Lawsuit Filed Against CLEAR/CLEARWIRE! (January 19th 2011)

Hi

I just found out on 7/6/2010 that CLEARWIRE had illegally removed $20.00 extra in June 2010 and again this month 50.39. They were only to debit 30.39 and they upped it to $50.39 without ANY notice to me.

I have had very VERY poor internet and it has never been consistent. Last month we would lose the internet over and over. I paid $50.39 last month for a service I was NOT recieving.

I went to my local dealer here in Kennewick and he was very nice and we called to discuss the mess. I was promised 29.99 for life of my contract states that and I was to be allowed a 3mg upgrade as part of my 29.99 for life.

They said they will credit my account but I feel that they stole my 40.00 and should do better then credit my account. I think they should give me a month free use for a service I did not have last month and until the new modem shows up.

    Sherry I live in Kennewick as well and we have been with Clearwire for years now. At first it was decent but now it is absolutely horrible. It takes me about 5 min to load a single webpage at it’s best. I keep trying to convince my father to change our internet provider due to the fact that they also overcharged us and have been providing subpar service. As soon as our contract is up we’re gonna leave and go to a new provider. Way to go on doing a horrible job Clearwire!

    I just received notice this April 2015 that my contract with Clear for $29.99 per month service for Life, initiated in 2008, is now being canceled and the service will no longer be available at all. Isn’t this subject for a class action lawsuit? My contract is being broken, but I’m not dead yet. Cancellation can occur only upon cessation of life, as I understood it according to the wording of the ads and contract.

    I just got off the phone with clear, their answer was to transfer me to sprint where after several transfers I ended up with sales where they wanted me to sell there services, after I repeatedly asked will they honor my contract with clear they hung up the phone. This is ridiculous. And after I told them that would be breach of contract their answer was, not really, businesses close down all the time…
    congratulations neither one will get my business! !!!
