Clearwire is breaking the law. They are clearly violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which has attorney's fees and a minimum fine of $1,000 per occurence or proven damages.

File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, FTC, your state Attorney General, and your state utility regulator. The FTC and Attorney General will not do anything except file class action lawsuits when this pattern is detected.

Has anyone experienced having their credit card account hijacked after doing business with Clear? I gave them my credit card # and now have experienced charges that are not my own appearing on my credit card. Luckily I caught this early, but I am wondering, after reading these posts, if Clear is the source of my problem. I spoke to a representative about my concerns and she just acted in a patronizing way to me.

I would contact the three major credit bureaus and put a Security Freeze on your Credit and then nobody can run your credit at all.. It costs some money cant tell you how much as depends on state each state has their own rules and fees like her in Nevada its $10.

But if you go to the Police and Open a Identity Theft Police Report and then send a copy to the Credit Bureaus with your Security Freeze request then its free.. Thats what I did after my Identity was stolen and used to open $10,000 worth of credit cards.
