I feel your pain, Tom. I was infuriated when I attempted to begin the process of cancellation with Clearwire. We are currently living in Jacksonville, FL and we are moving overseas (Puerto Rico) with military orders.

The representative waived the cancellation fee (via phone) but we're going to get charged a restocking fee of $40.00! I'm hoping that Clearwire won't charge us any further once I mail the equipment in. I have fully paid June's balance and won't be due until July 1st. I better not see a charge in the account of any kind. Except for now, we're paying the $40.00.

Hey, I just wanted to comment. If you call account services and tell them you move out of coverage they have something called a "proof of move" it's a document you fill out and that gets you out of the contract once your new location is fully verified. best of luck!
