Provide What? – User Submission by Toni R.

January 20th, 2010 | by Tim |

Unfortunately I am in the last three months of my contract with Clearwire. My service has NEVER been adequate and it has gotten to the point where I don’t go near my computer and my telephone service SUCKS lately as well. Isn’t a contract as legally binding for them as for the consumer? I was just last evening that if I attempt to terminate my services before my contract ends this April, I will be charged an additional $85.00 for early termination yet I am paying monthly for internet and phone services that are constantly getting worse instead of better. Where are my rights?

Clearwire suckers you into a contact BEFORE it can be determined that you are in good tower position. So if you discover that because of how your residence is located you are NOT in a good place…OOPS! Too bad. Are they piggybacking (stealing) from other providers towers in your area?

And, when you call for a problem you then have to become an IT person while they instruct YOU to unplug, observe how many lights are going, etc. $%#@# that! Well I guess at least you don’t have suffer the frustration of having a “technologist” come to your home and witness that they literally have no clue as to why you can’t get the internet!

I’m calling the BBB and the FCC (not that I think anything will come of it). It’s just therapeutic for me to air – even if its only in writing – which is safe at this point.

Well If you had a field tech to come out & he cannot prove that your service works @ an adequite speed then you have a right to cancel the service. So if you can’t get anywhere with the Retention rep… Then advised them that you are getting a lawyer & filing a complaint to your state Attorney General about thier shady practices. But, you must have proof that the service doesn’t work for the majority of the time. Also, I just checked & I see that Clearwire doesn’t even have BBB Accreditation anymore. (I guess they were tired of all the complaints on there. LOL… They never scored higher than a D- anyways:) “SAD SMH”. So if you have thier service you need to RUN for the hills or wait until At&t & Verizon LTE mobile Internet. That’s going to be coming out really soon. ” Which will be Faster than Wimax & cheaper to maintain”. So think about it people! Cheaper for them = Cheaper for US:)
    CLEARWIRE & CLEAR SUCKS
