Clearwire SUCKS – User Submission by T. Pell

December 21st, 2009 | by Admin |

Do not get fooled by what any Clearwire Salesperson or Customer Service Representative tells you, this is much slower than dial-up connection. They will bazit you with adequate speed for the first month and then severely limit your bandwidth. I was with Verizon before and they are much much faster and do not drop connections like Clearwire. CLearwire’s service would have to get better to suck, suck doe not even come close to describing how bad they are.

When Clearwire Customer Service (an oxymoron) looked at my modem they said it was switching between towers every second and replacing or moving the modem does not help.

I signed up in January 2009 and was told the service would be upgraded to CLEAR in 2-3 months; I am still waiting and service would have to get much better for me to say it sucks.

Things you ARE NOT able to do with Clearwire Internet:

* Youtube : too slow to watch a video all the way through
* Netflix : takes 4 hours to watch an hour of videos
* NFL.com : way too slow to watch takes 15 minutes to get through the initial 30 second commercial
* Ebay : unable to complete bids on items in the last few seconds. You get out bid, you lose!
* Clearwire Customer Service: no service just BS
* Access your email: yahoo mail, gmail and/ or hotmail usually times out before they load
* Steaming Videos : no way too slow
* Take College internet courses: times out when downloading assignments and times out when trying to take your exams. CAN YOU SAY FAIL!

Please do not sign up with CLEARWIRE they are slow, very very slow.
