Lawsuit Filed Against CLEARWIRE!

Clearwire Sucks – User Submission by Jimmie O.

December 21st, 2009 | by Tim |

Good Afternoon,

I have been using unclearwire for approximately 3 Mos. it has been the worst decision I have made since I have been on-line over 15 years now. We have tried to get connectivity with Outlook Express it does not work. I am running at 10 MBPS, I am faster with my internal wireless network at 100 MBPS. The speed is inconsistent in my area. They use google as an email platform “Communist” they eliminate info by using there most difficult proprietary email program. I cannot wait to get out of this contract.

Bottom Line: I had Charter in Reno, Nevada and I desperately want to go back.

Best Regards,

Jimmie O

The problem with Clearwire is several-fold:
    1. Cell site separation is too distant and thus, the drop-off in energy (which is proportional to subscriber distance to the local site) causes inferior data rates. This is a direct cause of poor topology planning that is inconsistent with hornbook radio engineering algorithms. They’ve been warned by myself and others about inappropriate systems engineering techniques dictated by their CTO.

    2. No. “1.” above was stimulated by Clearwire’s desire to save on system construction money. The less cell sites, the less capital expenditure, the less system speed, the less customer satisfaction.

Probability of going out of business = Greater than 90% (yet the big investors, who trust the engineering acumen of the Clearwire executive staff, keep pouring money in). Clearwire stock is still in the $6.50 area, which is down from a $25.00 start. It will never bounce back because they will never fire the senior technical corporate officers and replace them with hardcore RF systems people that know what they are doing.

This is about lack of competency and and screwing customers for the sake of saving construction bucks … and nothing else.

    Regards.

    James

What a joke of an internet provider, I was told there would be increased towers in my area(right in the middle of town) almost 1 year ago. Nothing has changed, still only receive 1 out of five bers of service. These jerks tell you another one of aesops fables every time you talk to them Never once have the statements ive received been the same. I would advise against getting involved with Unclear internet service.
