No Service that is Consistent – User Submission by Jane W.

I have used Clearwire for two years now. Everything was fine until about two weeks ago. Now the service is sporadic and there is no strong signal. I called the toll free number which took me to Florida. I was told the tower signal was fine. Maybe fine where they are but certainly not here. I called locally and was told to move the equipment around in my house until I got a row of five lights. Egads! I am not pleased with the current lack of service.

    I’ve had clearwire for a little over two years.
    In the last month or two, even though I have
    three to five “lights” showing excellent
    signal strength, I frequently will lose the
    connection to the web and it may take quite
    some time to come back on. This seems to happen
    most when traffic may be highest. I’m going to
    drop service with them if it does not change
    SOON. They were very good in the first year I
    was with them.
