Clearwire Sucks Nuts in Las Vegas – User Submission by Steven G.

I bought a 2 year clearwire contract about 10 days ago with the promise they would provide “up to 6 megabytes per second.” I have tested it for the past ten days and get only 0.5 mbps to 2 mbps, dependiong on the speedtest service and time of day!! This company is a total fraud! What can I do??

    I’m extremely disatisfied with the service and LACK of support I received today. I purchased this system because I was told that with this system you do not have a wait time for installation or an appointment to set up the system. You just purchase at an authorized dealer and you plug and go. What was my surprise? During the set up something went wrong and it gave me an error and now I have to wait up to 2 days to get any kind of service or support. Now I’m stuck for 2 years with this plan and I haven’t even used it. I do not recommend this system at all. Plus, the customer service agent stated after I called back that someone had already told me to wait and there’s nothing else they could do for me. I’m going back to COX cable because their customer service agents stay with you until you resolve the problem and service is reinstated. I’m very disgusted with Clearwire. Their customer service is a disgrace!

    I too live in las vegas and tried this jacked up service. It sucks and the customer service sucks. I filed a complaint with the Florida consumer affairs and talked with the State of Nevada Attorney Generals office. You need to also contact the State Attorney Generals office and talk with them. There address is 555 E. Washington Blvd. (State building across from Cashman field)and phone is(702) 486-4521. II never got a chance to contact channel-13 news investigates, you might want to also contact them and get this piece of cow dun (I am being nice) company out of here.

    I’ve had terrible speeds and pings since they “upgraded” the towers in November. Support offers no solution other than “wait.”
