May God Have Mercy on Clearwire – User Submission by JoAnn H.
November 13th, 2009 | by Tim |We got their service on September 29th & for the 7 day grace period
it ran really great. I have called & sent countless emails only to
be given the runaround & by the end of the month I was done. We
purchased the modem (did not want to be contracted to CLear) & were
out of pocket $140.66 for crappy service only to be told this morning
from Clear that according to their records I have never called to
complain & the 7 day grace period is over & there was nothing
they would do. I read that Clear has a reputation of insuring you have
a great signal during the first 7 days so you would not need to call
& then dropping your signal to a lower cost plan without your
knowledge. I just refuse to be taken advantage of. Genuine companies,
who care about their customers & providing service would attempt to
make things right. Even if they met me 1/2 way with reimbursement for
the modem which costs $70.00 & is completely useless & sits in
the box it came in. Filed a complaint this morning with the Better Business Bureau (Las Vegas) in hopes that something would be done about this company. Hopefully close it down to prevent any more innocent people being scammed.
Thank you for letting me rant…..Huge Hugs all around, except to Clear, lol
