Bait and Switch Tatics – User Submission

Clearwire baits you, first Clearwire starts you out with a faster, near-cable, download speed then switches you after the initial 30 days WITH SLOWER ACCESS SPEED that avaerages less than half of their advertised speed. Clearwire also has very high packet loss, you have to constantly resend information and often have to reset the modem. CLEARWIRE SUCKS, CLEARWIRE IS VERY SLOW, CLEARWIRE OFFERS LITTLE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND NO HELP WITH SLOW INTERNET ACCESS. CLEARWIRE SUCKS BIG TIME. Clearwire is much slower and often stops and needs refreshing; much slower than broadband, especially if you plan to use YOUTUBE, NetFlix or any streaming downloads. Clearwire’s speed most of the time is comparable to a dial-up connections. Clearwire sucks, if you want a fast, reliable and accurate internet connection. Clearwire is clearly NOT the choice.

    I’m noticing not just that, but bait and switch with their pricing as well. I ordered the pick 2 bundle that was supposed to be half off for 6 months, which based on the info they gave me would’ve made it 30 bucks a month for 6 months. Just got my first bill and it was over 60 dollars, but if I look at the billing section online it only shows 30, its not till I download the invoice that I can see 60.

    I was browsing the internet and bumped into this website and I can really relate to a lot of the same issues,Clearwire sucks!Download speeds of dial up and I cannot even watch a 2 minute video without my computer buffering or listen to music cause Clearwire cannot download 1 song without it stalling.I am so frustrated with the crappy service at $50.00 for 2 mb service and I also did not know about the autopay and the mandatory 2yr contract.Very unhappy with Clearwire service and should have stayed with Comcast!!!
