July 31st, 2009 | by Tim |Called to get service, told 29.95 a month, no one ever mentioned that this was a 2 year contact. So for 3 months I put up with slow download speeds, or no service at all for several hours. I called to cancel my service and was told that I had a 2 year contract and that I owed them 275 dollars for early termination fees, well that just pissed me off. So I called American Express and asked that Clear wire can no longer bill me, they asked why and i told them, and said I never signed a contract, they did an investigation asking clear wire for a copy of said contract, they could not produce and the charge was rescinded, the very next month there was a 65 dollar charge from clear wire, I called AX again and they looked up my complaint and removed the charge and put a block on clear wire. Then the phone calls started, I informed them that there was no contract, they could not produce it for AX or me, so I said that my balance is zero. I then went on to explain that a contract is a 2 way street they must provide service as said in there Ads and that for that service I would pay them 29.95 per month, but since there was inadequate service I could break the contract That I did not sign or that I did not have, as told to me by my brother who is an attorney. It was nice to hear that a contract is a 2 way street. So when clear wire calls i tell them that by Law in North Carolina that this conversation is being recorded and that I need threre last name as well and that I was logging the call by time and date, they hung up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 calls 3 hang ups, so far so good
