July 24th, 2009 | by Admin |ok, so I bought clearwire a couple months back. My modem has completely gone out and I had to wait for a replacement. Additionally I’m having the same modem’s out/bandwidth issue that everyone else does. Now I figured I’d just cut my losses when I moved and cancel my service, except that you have to pay $190 to cancel early. EARLY!? My mistake was not reading all of the fine print, because I specifically asked the sales man whether it was month to month or if there was a contract. I guess you can just say whatever makes the sale. Great job guys, one hell of a company you got there!!

They did the same thing to me. I tried to cancel and they kept trying to sell me other services. From day one I couldn’t get the system to work. They refused to let me stop the service. I told them I would not continue a service that doesn’t work, they take money out of my account every month. They are are so rude, all they know is their sales pitch, not problem resolution.
I don’t have a job and I got into this to save money, now I have Comcast for internet and Clearwire that doe nothing but take money that I have not agreed to.

I SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH CLEARWIRE 2 YEARS AGO AND I WILL SAY THE SERVICE WORKED WELL FOR ME. BUT….6 MONTHS AGO I MOVED TO OKLAHOMA AND THEY DO NOT PROVIDE SERVICE HERE. I TRIED TO CANCEL SERVICE AND THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO PAY TILL THE CONTRACT RAN OUT. I PAID, AND ON THE DAY THE CONTRACT WAS UP I TRIED TO CANCEL. THEY INFORMED ME SINCE MY HUSBANDS NAME IS ON THE ACCOUNT HE WILL HAVE TO CALL…HE IS OUT OF TOWN, THE CREDIT CARD I USED IS IN BOTH OUR NAMES AND I SIGNED THE CONTRACT, THEY DID NOT REQUIRE HIM THEN, SO WHY NOW? I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO CLEARWIRE, AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THEIR TACTICS AND WHAT RAT BASTARDS THEY ARE.

They are the WORST EVER!!!. I haven’t had a signal in over 3 months. Also, when the guy came to install, he had papers stating a 2 year contract, when I only agreed to a 1 year contract. Also when I did a “TEST” call, i was told the service wasnt in my area. I told the rep of my issue, he came back saying service was in my area. This is clearly FRAUD!!!! No signal in ANY ROOM in my house
