July 1st, 2009 | by Admin |Okay, so I set up my clearwire account in a store, in seattle, wa. They salesman was really nice, and waived a bunch of fees, i have had service for about 2 months now, and it is slow as hell. when i call in and tell them about my issues, they tell me that they show my speed is above what they promise, but what really sets me off, is i made a “one time payment” with a card, they accepted that payment, and also charged my card on file, and that was news to me that I had a card on file….So i called and canceled my service, and am being charged an ETF, I informed them of the class action building up against them, and of the 590+ compliants filed with the BBB. they offered to upgrade my service for free, and i declined. I live in seattle wa, and they class action, is being held here in washington, in my county…so i just want to know what it takes to get involved. I am NOT going to pay them an ETF, I just called and canceled my card, and once it hits collections, i will dispute it.
