Clearwire Again – User Submission by Eric H.

I spoke to another rep about speed issues and said that I am still below dial up speed.His answer was quite simple, just hang in there for about 6 months and they will have a new service in my area called clear.Heres the link http://www.clear.com/ .So now I have to wait a further 5 or 6 months for this new service which will now cost 60.00 a month and the service I have now will be obsolete..Just great..Where was all this info when I signed up?
Anyway I was also told that we can NOT use the 1.5 to 2.0 service to watch tv such as Hulu, we can not use this service for youtube,as well as other programs that require bandwith?
I am not quite sure what Clearwire is suppose to be used for?What do most folks use the internet for?Chat,downloading,watching tv listening to radio and so on..Well folks I am here to warn you DO not sign up for Clearwire if you need the internet because you cant use it for anything other than emails I guess.Sure is a different story than the one I was told the day I ordered the service.
I want out of this service so bad..I want them to send me or email me the E contract that they said I signed?Still waiting…I never agreed to anything more than a month to month basis and I could cancel anytime I was told.The modem I paid for in full..I wont even go into the debit card issues I have had with clearwire.
I need to call them again today, my current speed at 6:00am is .27 I can get faster speeds from 2 dixie cups and a string.What was I thinking..Anyway time to lower the ole IQ as I am sure my mind will be scambled after talking to which ever poor soul I get at clearwire today..
I truely wish I had the internet before getting Clearwire, I would most certainly have found this site and never ordered their services.Maybe I will head ack to Aussieland and let them find me and try and bill me there..

just tried to call the co. and after being prompted to push 3 for technicaal supoort i get recording say if i want further assist to call 555-1212. some support. I get between 2kbs and 384 kbs .some service ive wasted at least 3 hrs this week just trying to get thru to theese assholes

Thank you to all who have posted here. I was just about to sign up for clearwire’s service when I saw this site about 5 links down from clearwire’s. After 20 minutes of reading, I feel as though I have been saved. Thank you and I’m sorry for all your troubles. I love the Internet!
