Clearwire RIPOFF – User Submission by Svend C.
May 24th, 2009 | by Admin |I have had Clearwire for almost 2 years now and have been paying them $55 a month for their ClearPremium Plus 2.0M, 256K and have noticed in the past few months that I can’t hard do anything on the internet. There has been times I couldn’t get a page to load at all. I would call them and they would say they would have someone look into the matter and call back and let me know what the problem was or is.
After never hearing from them and still not able to doing anything on the internet and my mail timing out all the time we continue to call them and always the same thing, “don’t call us we call you”. Well enough was enough and my wife called and let them have it. Come to find out they said they dropped our speed cause we do to much on the internet and we are hog up the line per say, but yet they couldn’t tell us this and continuing to charge me $55 plus a month for speed I haven’t gotten in almost two years. I can’t help there is my wife, 3 teen kids and myself using the internet! Never once had a problem like this with DSL or Cable and if I wasn’t locked in a Contract I would drop them in a heart beat. They even threaten us if we cancelled them they would turn us in to the credit people. Now that suxs to pay for something and not getting what you pay for!!!! They are ripping people off and getting away with it!!! I feel I should get back all the money I have spent in the two years I have had them which is over $1300 and growing… They are no better than a con artist!!!!!

This is a follow up to my recent post.
We have contacted clearwire yet again and had it out with them and as of now im contacting the media here in Jacksonville Florida.
Not only have the slowed me down to less the a dial up speed they informed me now that my contact won’t end to almost 2011. How can this be???? I know when I got this damn ISP and now looking through my records about this.
