Wow, this is beyond ridiculous – User Submission by Ryan

Okay, forgive me for going off on tangents as I have a tendency to do – I’m a newcomer to Clearwire and NOT an actual customer. Simple fact is, my friend’s dad had ClearWire and decided to get something else, but rather than paying the early termination fee, he gave the modem to my friend. My FRIEND already has Comcast (which is a nightmare in and of itself, but given the circumstances, is still the superior alternative.) I’m in collections with Comcast for roughly $500 in over-charged bills I refused to pay, so my alternatives for Internet are pretty null.

So I asked if I could “rent” the ClearWire adapter from my friend, thinking, “Sweet, I can have Internet again.” That would have been lovely, had it actually been the case – ClearWire’s signal is so incredibly shitty, I’d rather go back to bumming WiFi signal off my neighbor – A signal that gets roughly 75% packet loss, I might add. Streaming anything is useless, online PS3 gaming is nearly impossible…

How is this even legal? Is there anyone out there that truly knows enough about business to figure out how we can financially fuck these assholes for what they’re doing? I guess given the state of our economic regulatory system (or lack thereof), it seems rather daunting, but this is simply outrageous.

I’m getting so absolutely sick of companies pulling this kind of bullshit – This over commercialized capitalist economy is being ran by rich motherfuckers who just need more and more, and don’t give a fuck how much they rip off the consumer market to get it. You can look at almost every disgraceful business on this planet and trace ALL of our economic and social issues to the simple fact that they undermined every single citizen of this planet in order to line their pockets with gold.

So with that in mind, you know what I think we need to do? We need to set an example – We need to show these idiots that we’re not going to stand for them DESTROYING OUR ENTIRE COUNTRY for their selfish purposes.

The United States Constitution has this lovely passage: “Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.” I don’t know about you, but I don’t see “War” as simply machine guns and bombs. They’ve levied an economic war against the ENTIRE POPULOUS, trying to drive this country further into the ground so they can live peacefully on their private little islands. If our country continues down this slippery path, we won’t HAVE an economy to support, and without an ECONOMY, we have no defense. And with no defense, I’d say our enemies are better poised to take us out – Is that NOT aiding our enemies, albeit inadvertently?

I’m not saying this is what we should actually do – This may be going a little too far, I’ll agree. But let’s be realistic and honest, shall we? Companies like ClearWire, Comcast, AT&T, AGI, Geico, McDonald’s, Best Buy, WalMart, THE LIST GOES ON – They have basically DESTROYED this country, in so many ways it makes my fucking head spin, so let’s just call them what they are – Traitors. Traitors to this country, traitors to this world, and traitors to our collective future.

This world absolutely sickens me. Compassion is dead.
