April 24th, 2009 | by Admin |I have been a customer since 2005, and back then it actually was pretty quick….NOW, not so much, my husband was continuously pissed while trying to play his video games online as the connection was so laggy it wasn’t even worth it to play! I called them to let them know I wanted to cancel, and since they force you to have a credit card on file in order to ensure they always receive payment, they went ahead and charged my card the 42.43 for the month of April, even though I cancelled the service and returned the equipment. I called today to find out when I would receive a credit for the month of April since I did not use the service and the rep told me he could not guarantee a full refund of the month that I had not used it, because I only had 7 days from the date they billed me to return the equipment. Maybe this guy is an idiot? Im not sure he has a high school education….they charged me on the 6th, they received the equip. back on the 13th…how many days is that? umm ya, its 7! SOOOO I should get my full refund! BUT hello, he said that they didn’t put it into the system that they had received it until the 14th! lol whatever they can do to get that 40 bux outta me right!?!? And the tactics that woman used when I tried to tell her I wanted to cancel! I mean honestly, it was laughable, trying to talk me into “selling” my account on craigslist so that someone would pick my account up! HELLO not going to happen! Just take your friggin slow ass modem back and shut the hell up, is what I wanted to say!!
Anyway, I now have AT&T fiberoptics (u-verse) internet and it works great! AND, I am paying LESS than I was with Clearwire….they SUCK!

my sis had clear for more than 3 years..she tried to cancel the service but they would’t let her..so she ended cancelling her credit card, in some way they found the new cared and chardeg her, so she clossed that cc..ya n that was it..they found her debt card, and they recently charged her again..she’s planning to file a lawsuit against them..I had clear wire too for 2 years..it worked well not till the last six month or so..the service sucks..i had to unplug the system and started using the no charge dialup service ..am planing to get comcast sometimes this month..ya clear wire has turned itself into a garbage service…this sucks.
