Cancelled Clearwire, still getting fucked

I’ve been a Clearwire customer for over two years. I finally had enough of the shitty service and when Comcast asked me to come back, I agreed to a cable modem. Today, I canceled Clearwire. The encouraged me to pass the account on to some other sucker to avoid a 180 dollar cancellation fee. Apparently, last August I signed up for another year.

Well, I’m not going to find a new customer for them so I have to pay the fee. Seeing as I have to do this, I think it’s only fair that I get my 180 dollars worth. So…

Fuck Clearwire.

Do not get Clearwire service. Whatever you do, if you are thinking about this or are considering taking over someone else’s account, do not do it. No matter how evil Comcast can be, they are saints in comparison to Clearwire.

Here’s a nice BusinessWeek article about Clearwire. Why do they have problems? Because their service sucks.

Oh, and I was just told twice that they don’t support gaming. If you like to play online games, do NOT get Clearwire.

Just to reiterate: Cleawire sucks. Fuck Clearwire. Do not get their service.

This took me a few minutes to type up, so Clearwire still has about 170 dollars worth of shit-talking coming to them.

I’m not sure what got Clearwire’s attention, maybe your site, my complaint through the BBB or twitter, but I just got unfucked. They admitted a mistake was made extending my contract and they have waived the early termination fee. Thanks!
