January 28th, 2009 | by Tim |I am so glad I found this site. I just wish I had found it before I signed up for Clearwire. My service NEVER works. I have online classes that I was in danger of failing due to my internet service being so unreliable. 99% of the time while in the middle of an online test, my service would drop. Nothing like failing a test because you can’t get online to take it. It got to the point that I had my old cable connection reinstalled so I could keep up with my classes.
I then called Clearwire to cancel my account because the service did not work. I was told that I had to “troubleshoot with a technician” on the phone. So fine, I get transferred over to their sorry support department, and the “tech” couldn’t help me. (some tech you got there Clearwire!). I then asked to speak to a supervisor because this guy was just too stupid for words.
A supervisor by the name of Loren gets on the phone, and he was worse than the first guy. Not only is he exceptionally stupid when it comes to his company’s product, for a supervisor, Loren was very rude as well. This guy was totally unwilling to believe anything I told him about the connection. He told me to STFU, and deal with it before he hung up on me. He was in Las Vegas. My Clearwire service still does not work except for possibly ten minutes per day if I restart their modem first, so I put it in a box and I am going to mail it back to them weather they want it or not, and I am canceling my credit card so they can no longer get any money from me. Then I will file a complaint with the AG’s office. I have had enough with this bullshit. Too bad I couldn’t get the name of the supervisors boss to tell him what a douchebag he has working for him. A lying, rude supervisor that doesn’t know his ass from his elbow. Loren in Las Vegas. If anyone calls them to complain at night, be sure to ask for him so you can experience the same great customer service that I did.
