Send Your Complaint to your Attorney General – User Submission by Raul A.
January 21st, 2009 | by Tim |I have been quarreling with Clearwire for months and months and have been unhappy with that company and their “fast-service”. I ran into this website and one of the posts suggest to contact your Attorney General. So I did exactly that – went to my local AG’s website, got a response from them a day or two later.. After 2 weeks, I get an email from Clearwire acknowledging the complain. In the letter, they’d explain all of the things they have done on their end, stating that the towers in my area are functioning well and no issues were found, etc (which is all BULLS***) but eventually, they budged by getting me out of my contract with a $50 cancellation fee (instead of $250 Early Termination Fee per my 2-yr contract). It sucks that I have to pay $50, but it’s definitely better than paying $250 and I definitely didn’t want to wait until my contract expires, which is in Dec. 2009, which meant giving them $500 of my money. No way!!
Moral of the story: Contact your AG ASAP per website, be as detailed as possible with your complaint and I promise you will have your issues with Clearwire resolved! Good luck, everyone! J

The service is terible in my area (seattle, WA). I can’t use their service since september 2008 but I already prepaid my service the year. On November 2008 they automatic renew my service and charge over $500.00 on my credit card account, I call them and ask them to cancel but they did not cancel I call my credit card bank to dispute, a month the charge come back into my account I call both credit card and clearwire and still no result. futher more I bought the modem from them at the begining of the service but on the bill they charge $59 as a lease modem. The goverment should do something with this company. Please help me on this.
