It’s not all it’s cracked up to be – User Submission by Gabby J.
December 31st, 2008 | by Admin |I signed on with Clearwire about 18 months ago. The promises the salesperson made to me were conspicuously only made clear about 6 weeks after I signed my contract. I was interested mainly in the express card for my new laptop. I was told the card would be available within 30 days. About 9 months later, the company came out with the PC card. I checked online every other week to check the status of the release. When the day finally came, I discovered they came out with the pc card only, and that it wasn’t the price as promised! I had to be offline for about a week until the company could send me back out the modem. It took another several months to get the express card and again, not at the promised price.
I tried twice to demand out of the contract, but to no avail. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone, and find it humorous that they would let you out of the contract by reassigning the contract to a friend or family – who would do that to someone they actually cared about!!! I’m going wireless at the house and dumping Clearwire as soon as possible.
