December 29th, 2008 | by Tim |Don’t get me wrong, I think Comcast is overpriced as well, but Clearwire is asking $80/mo. for no-contract service??? Comcast doesn’t make you sign a contract at all, and offers high speed internet for about $65/mo. I have a wireless router in my home so I don’t have to be plugged in, and with free wi-fi offered all over the city in cafes, libraries, restaurants and bookstores, why would anyone pay $80 a month for internet service????
I didn’t even sign up, because it’s so obviously a bad deal. I can’t imagine how some people got suckered into this, but you guys need to educate yourselves and stop giving companies like this business! It only encourages their inflated prices and poor service! Be a responsible consumer and THINK before you purchase, for the sake of everyone, PLEASE!
