The class action lawsuit SHOULD include
a 50% refund of the monthly to subscribers
experiencing network outages and slow
service. This happens quite often in the
Seattle/So. King County area, specially
within 2009. I just did a speedtest:
ping (latency) 2479ms
Upload Speed .11 mbps
Download Speed .11 mbps

Same problem as above. No coverage after moving to a new area. They acknowledged that my area was right outside of their "coverage area" and they would send someone out to drive by and do a reading. Called back no one had ever driven by, and I told them I wanted to cancel. They told me it would cost me $250 to cancel and they would take it out of my checking account immediately. I was in the process of closing my checking account anyway, so at least they were unable to get my money. I have a feeling they will take me to collection over this, but perhaps something will be done legally before I have to deal with a collection agency.

Same problem. I signed my son up for Clearwire. He was living in an apartment for one year. The Clearwire representative I talked to said we could pay month-to-month. Once Clearwire hooked up the modem my son clicked on the website to get on the internet and the Clearwire page popped up. He NEVER chose the option of a 2-year contract. It must have been pre-selected.

Now that he has moved out of town into a dorm which provides internet Clearwire won't let us cancel. They say I "signed" a 2-year contract and still owe another year. I've never even seen a piece of paper or mail and now they tell me they are completely a paperless company.

Comcast is willing to drop my payment by $20 a month to keep us as a customer at my home. Clearwire is willing to do NOTHING! So I am keeping Comcast and taking it up the wazoo from Clearwire. I will never use them again after this or recommend them and will do everything in my power to make sure everyone I know knows about them and I know a LOT of people. Clearwire can kiss my foot and possibly another location!!!!

Wow...CLEARWIRE BLOWS!!!

So I switched to them from TimeWarner b/c they were 15$ a month cheaper. I knew from the first day I had it, that I had made a huge mistake. Service was slow and choppy. I did a speed check and I had dial-up speed. This got slightly better over the last few months (think 2 x dialup) but NOWHERE near what cable was. It made surfing the net a pain in the ass.

So I called Clearfuckers to cancel, then said thats fine, just pay them 205$$!!! I was pretty stunned, since the rep who signed me up assure me there was NO CONTRACT and it was month to month. When I tried to cancel, the new rep told me NO NO that was for the MODEM contract...yeah right. So I guess they had me dead to rights, apparently I clicked on an agreement to a 2 year deal. Yeah Yeah, you got me, nice job.

So I canceled them anyway just now. Gave the guy on the phone a piece of my mind and told him about this website! Said they may have my 200$, but I am going to go out of my way to cost them more than that by spreading the word about how much they suck to everyone I can think of. Starting with this site! I'm going to make it my job to cost them as much money as possible.

I can't stand Clearwire. They've sent us those crazy plug-in network modules. Now their sending us a new modem. Placebos to pretend like their service is going to work. Now I can't even upload a file via email. Our modem constantly konks out. This is crazy. Dialup works better than this.
