I was told when I signed up that clearwire was easily fast enough for XBOX live, so I signed up, upon signing up and realizing it was not even close enough, I was told for a little more each month I could bump up my speed then I would have no problems. Of course this was not the case. I called asking if I could get out of my contract because they weren’t delivering on what they promised, and of course they hit me with a $150 early cancellation fee. Disgruntled, I agree to pay, then they tell me I will still have to pay my entire next months fee because they wont’ have gotten the modem in the mail before the billing date. Are you serious? Just cancel my service, and I will pay the $5 a month equipment lease fee, all I get is some sarcastic asshole tell me that thats not company policy. Fuck clearwire, its going to cost me over $200 dollars to get out of this when I have been under contract over a year.
