November 11th, 2008 | by Tim |I got clearwire in an effort to reduce my expenses at the advice of a friend. I had the service for 9 days before I decided that their product was horrible. I was barely able to use the internet, and a VPN connection for work was TOTALLY out of the question!!!! When I called to cancel my service and found out that I was going to have to pay a $215 termination fee, I was furious. My fault for not reading the fine print. Their customer service was alsp horrible and their technical support staff is about useless. I would not recommend Clearwire to anyone and I hope that more people are enlightened to this issue before they make the same mistake that I did.
