I had my trouble with Clearwire and I turned to the FCC! The FCC website allows you to file a complaint and then they look into it. It is a hassle for the company but demands they look into your account and what went wrong. I believe they also keep all complaints on file. I canceled my Clearwire due to their inconsistency in service and it being completely incapable of providing any positive benefit when trying to run a business. I paid the $150.00 early termination fee and had it out with them on the phone! Nothing but frustration!

After receiving my response from the FCC I was told that Clearwire would credit my account for the $150.00 early termination fee I had already paid. I still had to go through their horrible customer service and numerous people yet again trying to say that they had already credited my account. Eventually I spoke to someone and read to them the letter and it was taken care of. A bit of a hassle even trying to get that back , but hey it is worth making them have to put more work into the issue then saying screw it and letting them keep the $150. This is what they count on. They probably make more money on people paying the early termination fee than they do with satisfied customers payments.
