October 15th, 2008 | by Tim |I have clearwire but don’t use it because they suck. We signed up for them in June 07. Used them for 29 days and they were great. the split second it turned midnight on the 30th day, the quality of service went to crap. it went from 1.5meg down to maybe 500k. my latency went from around 100 to about 10,000+. i would call their tech support and magically it would work great when I talked to their tech support. the second i got off the phone, it sucked again. at this point since it was the 30th day, we were locked into the 2 year contract. they would not let us out of it. I continued to call tech support about my issue and each time it worked great when I was on the phone with them and then went back to crap when I got off the phone. It’s obvious they throttle the connection. i got comcast ’cause i needed something I could use.
all this time, we’ve been paying $25 for clearwire. suddenly this month, it goes up to $37 a month. wtf, we are in a contract, how can they raise the price? isn’t that the point of the contract is that it locks you both in? they say they can do whatever they want. I hate clearwire. they may be the most evil corporation of all time. What can I do? I can’t afford their crazy high early termination fees.

Good job if they don’t fire you before you start….. Yeah the client does not want me wtf is that. I am a hard worker and have struggled all of my life trying to better my self. I was in a two week training class and the fired me on the 2nd week. Now that would not have been a big deal but… They did it when I was on my smoke break at 11am. I mean they did not have the common decency to fire me when I got in or at the end of the day. Now I am a law bidding citizen and the escorted me out of the building. That was by far one of the most embarrassing things that has ever happened to me. They would not even let me get my belongings.I was even lied to apparently when I asked how I was doing in the training class ” oh your doing good” uhuh… Two days later I was without a job. I’ve never had a job where I was proud, I thought this would be it. I quit a stable job to come there and for what to be fired before I even started. My girlfriend was so proud of me as was I. It got even better when I tried to find out why I was terminated. Apparently in new york state they don’t have to tell you anything. Now how is someone suppose to better their selves and correct their mistakes if they are not given a reason or explanation into their termination. I was treated like a criminal and for what? When I was on a smoke break I was told someone wanted to talk to me and thought nothing of it. They put me in a small room with 3 people so i introduced my self in a respectable way. Shaking hands and what not then one of them told me I was no longer need and that they would gather my things and escort me out of the building. I was so confused and upset when I left I was almost hit by a car. Once again Thank you clearwire.
