Worthless in every way and they are proud of it! - User Submission by Steve G.
August 27th, 2008 | by Tim |Won’t work when it rains, on a ‘clear’ day the best I can get is three bars. If you can figure out how to get through to their wretched customer service/technical departments, they tell me there are 12 towers in my area and that it becomes my burden to parade their equipment around every room in my house to find the best signal - oh, that also requires setting the modem in the window. Geeez…
The techies may ooh and awe about Clearwire’s technology, investors may bray about how this is the opportunity to hitch your wagon to, but frankly, I’m a pretty smart guy and I wonder if any of them have actually attempted to use this alleged internet service provider.
I tell you this much, Best Buy is just as culpable because they gave them floor space to sell this load of hooey. Then cancel Clearwire, you might say. Cha… like I’m going to give these blights on American business the $200 for that? My contract does expire in two months and then I’ll bail and PRAY they ask me why, but why waste the energy explaining it. No, I’ll pursue forums such as this and get louder and louder until I can hitch ‘my’ wagon to some sort of class action lawsuit which can somehow dismantle this embarrassment to those of us who still have pride in American ingenuity and enterprise.
Oh, lest I forget, Clearwire is cheaper, I pay $35 per month. Um…that’s $35 per month too much, tyvm.
