Clearwire responded months later that if i read the contract that i would have seen that clearwire does not support peer to peer downloads or streaming video, problem is, initially as a clearwire virgin, I told the clearwire rep that i wanted (fast) broadband internet to watch video such as tv shows online. The rep told me i needed the higher more expensive package and it would work fine. She didnt tell me that clearwire would choke hold the bandwidth and download speed if i did so. Now they tell me too bad. They said it is in the contract that I am not supposed to watch video online or they will limit me.

Who would think that an internet provider would limit your bandwidth and internet speed just cuz you want to watch video which seems expected in today’s online world. There are some helpful and good reps from tech support for clearwire. (they are trying to earn a living and are not “the man”).

Unfortunately, Clearwire bewilders me that such an amazing concept that has such possibilities of potentially being a wonderful product gets wasted in horrible service and horrible business practice. I am counting down the days to cancel the contract. And from what i have read/heard be sure to check your contract ending date and make sure to cancel beforehand or they will sucker you into another 2 years automatically.
