Isn't it nice to know that....
clearwire employees, such as the one called "heh" above, thinks of customers as stupid pricks?
that clearwire can't control their re-sellers?
that clearwire is so desperate to sell their inferior service, that they will stoop to hiring anyone, even those with obvious personality disorders?
I don't suppose that even their lawyers are much farther up the evolutionary ladder than their employees.

I just wanted to let you know that thanks to your site my father will not be getting scammed by Clearwire whatsoever. I think people need to have an option of knowing the negative sides to a company as well as the positives. I originally got stuck into a horrible internet contract with a horrible company that was up and running maybe 20% of a day. I was mortified and locked in for a year as a college student and didn't have the resources at the time to look into them more before choosing them as my ISP. Thank you for making it so that I didn't lock my father into the same kind of situation. I don't think there are nearly enough 'thank yous' on this site, but I'll say it.

just from reading all of this.

you know, the nicer you are the more willing people are to help you.

it helps if you don't curse, or scream, or call us pieces of shit, or dumbasses, or threaten to sue me because you sign a contract you end up not liking, or call us incompetent. or blame us for telling you 30 days when it was best buy who told you 30 days.

seriously, it's like yelling at dell because best buy told you they have a 2 year warranty and it's only a one.

and yelling at the people on the phone. get some class, and some respect, you're yelling at people with tied hands when it comes to being gracious. i deal with the same pricks every day. they didn't read their contract, they bought a product, as an impulse. look at every major business in this country. that's why you have to be careful before you buy anything that involves a commitment. it's like buying a car without looking at the interest on the loan. it's like buying a house without researching and keeping an eye on the paperwork.

or i hear from another joe blow who bought clearwire from pedro on the corner and told him clearwire would give him 5 billion dollars. of course pedro can't be lying. he's not in clearwire uniform, only has a modem and a convincing smile. so i listen to him, i get screwed by pedro, and claim it was frank. in this case, clearwire.

of course the early termination fee is high. do you even know how much money it costs to add some incompetent screaming beligerent idiot on our network? of course not. you're only worried about getting treated like gold because you're paying money for service you're not receiving, you bake the cake, and i'll bring the pity party.

stop yelling, calm down, and maybe people will want to help you as much as possible.
