		<description>clearwire are crooks, as soon asi get moved and to a new place where i can get anything but them (coming soon) i will cancel them, i did a good thing though, so if they try to charge my account they wont be able to,i use a virtual card (evil grin) which just cancel at a click of a mouse.  lol  anyways, they lie cheat and steal, this month i found to charges on my bank statement for 1.78, WTF i calle dthem, we fergot to chargee you they said.  they dont care about there cust.   I am now cap&#039;ed at .60 and lower perm.  its so bad netflix forget it, web pages, yahoo some times doesnt even load.  there is something wrong with this company.  the day i cancel is the day i pray for.  they are nutz and rude.  I called tech suppor the otehr day, this is what i was told, you are cap&#039;ed, you are bad inet user, then said turn your modem of for 5 to 10 days, dont turn it on then you can watch one movie you stupid american!  that is quote!  never again!</description>

		<description>July 2011 I was charged my monthly charge for NO SERVICE AT ALL in the month of July 2011 as well as over $200 for equipment they sent me in error I returned and still waiting for the credit as well as a credit for no service in July of 2011.  I have spoken to over 10 customer service agents and have been told Clear does not CREDIT ANYONE!!!  Also, they hacked into my bank account and used a debit card that I NEVER GAME THEM....Hackers hackers who have started a legal business in the USA...I guess that is what we get when we trust more overseas companies to do business in what was once a safe and secure place to live, the USA.</description>

Somehow they managed to get a debit card which is soley for my unemployment payments and used it to get their montly August bill paid.  They extracted the information on August 31 and the funds were deposited on Sept 1 and BAM, now they are playing games.  Typically response is I understand your frustartion, I am here to help, but they don&#039;t, the run you around in circles...Con Artists at best! I will visit their corp offices on Tuesday with my atty and the whatever news media person I can hoodwink into going along.  Anna of WGN would love to get their face, she&#039;s great!unethical business practice m ust be stopped.   Alos, I was without service for the complete month of July 2011, except for 8 days and was told NO we do not give credits for no service!!! WHAT?  Also, I had order the hot spot box, and the USB kit.  I never installed the USB kit, the hot spot box malfunctioned and they sent me a new hot spot box, ACTUALLY TWO.  During the months I tried to get online and the replacement hot spot to work correctly, I was being charged an extra $9.00 plus $200 per month for the USB kit, I never installed the USE kit, nor did even open the box of the second hot box they sent me I and was told, when I return the defected hot spot box and the extra hot spot box and the USB cable kit, I am still wating.  Then I rec&#039;d a call today, telling me my request for a credit has been denied. WHAT??????  They rec&#039;d the equipment on Aug. 8 and I am still being charge the extra for all this equipment I don&#039;t have!!!!!  I requested this be corrected and receive a credit, and I I am continually be told NO sorry we do not do credits!!!  No, you just rip people off, go into their personal accouunts and steal their credit/debit card numberrs...What the heck is going on with this company, it is like legalized hackers.</description>

I was told NO again.  So I will go in person and make this wrong situation right.  I then asked for the telephone number and address of Clear Corporate offices in chicago, and was told we don&#039; have one.  I called again just minutes ago and was given the following information:  Clear Corporate office at 9801 W. HIggins Road, Suite 200, Rosemont Il.  I was told there is no phone number or contact name nor a listing of an owner name, or a VP of operations or accouting to contact.   I will make the trip to their corporate office on Tuesday, I will also contact the news media, the board of fair trade commision, the Better Business Bureau and  the FCC regulatory office, my atty, and if all else fails, I will report to the Chicago Police department, as this clearly a case of fraud.  This is just wrong! Unscruppulous business pratcies.   I think our wish to make our world a global environment is causing the good people of the USA up for further cases such as this.  Information exhcange compromised and used by cimmimals of other nations.  Again the USA, being the good guys gets taken advantage of.  I will pursue this to the nth degree.  No matter and I mean no matter how long it takes. Especially in the case of right vs wrong.  I am appalled and just shocked at the inability of a company to compensate and admit they are wrong. 		<description>Yeah.. Clear is shit, even worse if you do a wireless router on top of the fact of the modems being wireless, but they get shit connection, i dont live far from a signal tower, and a few small trees are blocking my connection according to there employes, how could anyone get a connection if a small tree could block the connection down to 200 kbps..</description>

		<description>As a former rep, I can tell you that we use a website to access your personal information when we are working.  I never tried it myself because they can probably track my IP address, but it is totally feasible that someone can log in from home and access your account info.  Chew on that one.</description>

		<description>I signed up for Clear January 2010. Home and mobile for %50.00 a month. I am located between 3 Clearwire towers here in the Chicago market. I have not gotten a speed over .50meg at home. I did get an 8.5 on the mobile about 20 miles from my hose along the expressway.
 I have called and complained and they keep me from cancelling by not charging me (I did pay an original 60.98 for the first motnh) and have extended my trial period (they said until today)until it works. It took then 2 montths to send a truck out to tell me the same thing I already knew. It does not work here for some reason. And nobody at clear tech support knows anything. They always tell me it will work someday in my area, but they do not know when. Today was aonther story. they said maybe September. LOL... why are they selling something and advertising as fast in my area when it is not true? hmmm. Asked custome rservice rep for a corporate phone number, her answer was : you&#039;ll never get that number but here is a fax number you can write a letter to&quot;.
 Terrible terrible service, i am glad i have not cancelled my DSL service yet.

		<description>I went to Clearwire asked if it would work in my area and the sales associate said it will and I can take it home and try it. I signed up for Clearwire, brought everything home, set it up, only got bars in one room (needed internet in 3 rooms) so I went back to their store and told them I wanted to cancel it because it only works on one of my three computers. They tried really hard to keep me even though they knew their was bad reception in the area I lived in. So I was on the phone for an hour with the billing services, in the store, because the sales associates cannot cancel the account. I thought it was canceled and cleared. 

My credit card statement comes to my address back home (college student living away from home)and my parents kept paying my credit card bill even though they knew I don&#039;t use that credit card. So when I went home yesterday, after 3 months, I looked at my statement that I got in the mail and saw I was billed for Clearwire. So I looked through my last three statements and saw I had been billed every month for the past three months. 

Today I called Clearwire and asked them what is going on and the lady said she is looking at my account. She was &quot;looking at my account&quot; for 10 whole minutes before she said she will cancel my account. I asked her was my account not canceled and she ignored what I said and said your charges will be returned in 3 to 5 business days.  So I guess I&#039;ll be calling back tomorrow to see what they have done to my account.

In conclusion: CLEARWIRE SUCKS!</description>

I felt comelled to do this after spending countless hours on the ophone with thier tech support performing all numbers of inane tasks with my modem and laptop in order to prove that I really was only getting ~500k and not the 6M I purchased. Once I had proven this multiple timne over the course of 3 months of service, I requested and was not granted a refund for the service which I was billed for but not provided for those 3 months. I was offer a prorated &quot;credit&quot; from Nov 11 - Dec 9, whic his when they say &quot;engineering&quot; will have the tower(600yrds from my house) signal stronger and everything should be fixed. When I asked to cancel, they nonchalantly said ok and made no further offer of a refund or incentive, and now will not refund the purchase price for thier useless equipment. 

They might be the worst perforiming ISP I&#039;ve ever encountered as well as amazingly bad at customer serivce for such and upstart venture(Clear, not Clearwire).</description>
